Financial Controller – Essex

A newly created Financial Controller role where you’ll take full charge of the finance function across a multi-entity group. Ideal for someone hands-on, commercially sharp, and ready to build a department around them.
The Role
- Produce monthly management accounts and lead year-end
- Own budgets, forecasts, cash flow and performance reporting
- Main contact for banks, auditors and suppliers
- Manage VAT, compliance, FX and landing costs
- Build a credit control function from scratch
- Oversee rebates, stock valuations and financial controls
- Support pricing, margin and scenario modelling
- Prepare property management accounts and project costings
