Top Tier Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Purchase Order Co-Ordinator on behalf of our client based in Guildford.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career within a busy and growing business. You will play a key role in supporting commercial and operational teams by managing purchase orders, supplier onboarding, payment applications, and invoice queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise purchase orders in line with company approval processes.
- Support the onboarding of new suppliers, liaising with external suppliers and internal departments.
- Manage invoice and payment queries efficiently and professionally.
- Process payment applications in line with workloads assigned by Quantity Surveyors.
- Review and process subcontractor payment applications accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Produce reports relating to payment applications, queries, and purchase orders.
- Manage and prioritise workload effectively.
- Ensure all applications and documentation are submitted accurately and within contractual timescales.
- Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
✅ Strong organisational and administrative skills
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Numerical aptitude and attention to detail
✅ Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
✅ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
✅ Professional and confidential approach to work
Desirable:
✅ Previous experience within an Administration, Purchase Ledger, Accounts, or Commercial role
✅ Experience within a Transport, Logistics, or Fleet environment would be highly desirable
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Experience dealing with suppliers and subcontractors
