Pay rate: Monday to Friday Day - £15 p/h, Saturday & Sunday Day - £17 p/h, Sleep-Ins - £10.52 p/h
Shift pattern: 0900-2300 & 2300-0930
A meaningful, engaging role supporting someone to live a full and vibrant life.
This lady thrives on staying active and creative. She enjoys dining out, fun days in the community, and anything involving animals. Arts and crafts are a huge part of her world — painting, model‑making, colouring, and exploring new creative projects. She lives with complex health needs, including paralysis, uses a wheelchair full‑time, and experiences chronic pain. She also has mental health needs and may display behaviours that can be perceived as challenging, but these do not define who she is.
Your role will centre on enriching her daily life through thoughtful, stimulating activities and a genuinely empathetic approach. To support her well, you’ll bring previous experience in:
-
Chronic pain conditions — understanding pacing, comfort, and compassionate care
-
Paralysis — confident, safe support with mobility and positioning
-
Behaviours perceived as challenging — calm, consistent, person‑centred responses
-
Mental health — building trust, emotional safety, and positive engagement
You’ll provide high‑quality, compassionate 2:1 support tailored to her individual needs. Your day may include:
-
Meaningful activities — creative projects, sensory experiences, and community outings
-
Community engagement — promoting social interaction, confidence, and enjoyment
-
Household support — helping maintain a comfortable, organised home environment
-
Clear communication — using her preferred communication style to build trust and connection
This role is about enabling her to live life fully — with dignity, joy, and meaningful choice.
