About Us
Happy Mobiles is an independent mobile phone retail and repair business established in Lymington, specialising in mobile phone, tablet, and laptop repairs, alongside the sale of mobile phones, accessories, and related products.
As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our operations and opening a new store in Andover. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mobile & Laptop Technician to join our new team and play a key role in the success of this exciting expansion.
The Role
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the store.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
* Advise customers on mobile phones, accessories, and services.
* Process sales transactions accurately using the till system.
* Promote products, accessories, and repair services to maximise sales opportunities.
* Assist customers with basic device setup and demonstrations.
* Receive, price, replenish, and merchandise stock.
* Keep the shop clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
* Handle customer enquiries, returns, and after-sales support professionally.
* Assist with stock counts and inventory management.
* Support promotional activities and social media content when required.
Requirements
Essential:
* Previous retail or customer service experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of smartphones, accessories, and mobile technology.
* Previous experience in mobile phone retail.
* Experience using EPOS/till systems.
