SEN Teacher - PMLD School - Ilford - September Start - Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist PMLD school in Ilford for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive specialist setting, helping students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) access education within a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.
The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs including PMLD, Autism, sensory needs, physical disabilities, communication needs, and complex medical requirements.
The Role:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

Supporting pupils with complex needs and differentiated learning approaches

Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and wider professionals

Creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
-
Supporting pupils' academic, social, emotional, and communication development
-
Contributing to EHCP targets and progress monitoring
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold a QTS
- Have previous SEN teaching experience or a strong interest in specialist education
-
Experience supporting PMLD students is highly desirable
-
Be patient, caring, and adaptable
-
Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Be passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people
