We are partnering with a welcoming and nurturing private school in Kingston that is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their expanding pre-school provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting young children during a key stage of their development.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Early Years team to support high-quality teaching, learning and care for children aged 3 years within a warm and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities for an Early Years Teaching Assistant:
- Support children aged 3 years within the pre-school provision.
- Assist in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
- Support the delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Encourage children's social, emotional and educational development through play and structured activities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support pupils' progress and wellbeing.
- Observe children's development and provide feedback to the class teacher when required.
For this role, you will have:
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with 3-year-olds in an Early Years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- The ability to commute to Kingston or live locally.
Days and Hours of Work:
Part-time, Monday to Friday
12:30pm - 6:00pm
27.5 hours per week
