Chickenish is building an incredible team for the 2026 festival season. We’ve traded at some of the UK’s leading festivals including Glastonbury, Reading Festival, Download Festival, All Points East, British Summer Time and more, and are looking for team members who thrive in fast paced kitchens and enjoy the unique energy of festival life.
Many of our crew return season after season, so we are looking for the right people to join a strong, supportive team culture where standards are high and everyone plays an important role. Alongside our festival work, we also operate more than one fully plant-based food concept, meaning the role can be dynamic with opportunities to gain experience across different setups and environments.
Team members need to be flexible as roles often overlap. On one shift you may be taking payments and interacting with customers, and on another you may be serving food or supporting kitchen operations. This role suits someone with a flexible schedule who is happy working weekends and travelling to festivals. During camping events, team members who are not local will stay onsite with the crew.
Previous festival kitchen experience is preferred but not essential. However, some kitchen experience is required.
What we offer:
- Starting from £15 per hour up to £17 depending on experience
- One staff meal per day, two meals and drinks provided during camping festivals
- Travel covered to camping festivals
- Time to enjoy the festival environment while working within a supportive team
- A positive company culture with a wellbeing strategy being implemented this year
If you can see yourself joining us on this journey to share great food and help drive positive change through plant based festivals, we would love to hear from you.
