This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in Geriatric or General Medicine to work with a growing team in Hereford to deliver excellent clinical care in a department focussed on training and career development.
This is an ideal job for doctors wishing to take a year out from training or getting more experience in Geriatric or General Medicine, with clinical supervision and support for portfolio interests available to help with future career development.
These posts will provide excellent medical experience, teaching, and opportunities for learning.
These posts will be fixed term until start of August 2027 in the first instance, mutually agreed extension may be available.

Clinical
The post holders will be working in the new Frailty Block within Geriatric medicine or the General Medicine ward, gaining experience in all aspects of inpatient Geriatric or General medicine. Each speciality has w eekend cover of a one in four rota.
Non-clinical
Supervision and support of doctors in training and ACPs as appropriate to experience and competence. Quality improvement, education and training and audit will be supported in development of a high quality acute medicine service within the trust.
All posts are whole-time. However part time/ job share will be considered.
The post will not include participation in the acute medical on call rota.
