Genie Cleaning Services Ltd is a well-established and friendly cleaning company with over 21 years of experience. We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. Many of our staff have been with us for many years, and we would love to welcome you to the Genie family.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the cleaning team on site, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining excellent cleaning standards.
There may also be opportunities for additional cleaning hours at other local sites across Birmingham.

- Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 3.30pm to 6.30pm
- 1 Hour measured work 2 Hours supervising
- Location: B13 0TW
- Pay Rate: £14 per hour
- Gross Monthly Salary: £824.25
- Gross Annual Salary: £9891.00
- Enhanced DBS Certificate: Required for this position
- Contracted to: 47.1 weeks including 5.6 weeks holiday and 2.5 weeks deep clean
- Deep Clean Hours: 2.5 weeks included in contract
- Recognition draws: Your site will take part in regular recognition draws with prizes.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train cleaning staff, monitoring their performance
- Ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to the required standards
- Ensure cleaning schedules and procedures are followed
- Inspect work areas regularly to ensure compliance with requirements
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Manage stock levels effectively
- Communicate professionally with clients and staff
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience as a Cleaning Supervisor
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to train and motivate a team
