What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for the safe transport of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste across the UK, operating both ADR tankers and curtain‑siders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating HGV Class 1 ADR tankers and curtain‑siders nationwide
- Transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in full compliance with ADR regulations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
- Ensuring safe loading and unloading of tankers and packaged waste
- Completing accurate documentation, including waste transfer notes
- Maintaining high standards of safety, environmental awareness and compliance
- Representing RED Industries professionally at all customer and supplier sites
- Using PPE and equipment safely and correctly at all times
- Working flexibly to support the wider transport team, including occasional nights out
- Following company procedures and contributing to safe, efficient transport operations

Who We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card
- Tanker driving experience
- Strong communication skills
- Safety‑focused, reliable and professional
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
Desirable:
- Experience with curtain‑siders
- Knowledge of waste or industrial cleaning industries
You’ll also bring:
