Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Site Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role would suit someone looking for a side role or additional part-time work. The main focus of the role will be supporting with deliveries, stock replenishment, shop-floor presentation, facing up, and forecourt cleaning.
The main location will be Shell Skelmersdale, although occasional cover/support may be required at Shell Maghull, so some flexibility would be helpful.
The ideal candidate will be practical, reliable, comfortable with manual handling, and able to work efficiently to keep the site clean, tidy, stocked and well presented.
Duties
- Support with deliveries and putting stock away correctly
- Move stock safely from the stockroom/warehouse to the shop floor
- Replenish shelves, chillers and key selling areas
- Face up products and ensure shelves are tidy and well presented
- Help keep the shop floor, stockroom and warehouse organised
- Carry out forecourt cleaning duties and general site cleaning
- Support with stock rotation and checking product dates where required
- Ensure stock is placed neatly and safely in the correct areas
- Report any stock, cleaning, safety or maintenance concerns to management
- Follow company procedures relating to health and safety, manual handling and site standards
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable with manual handling and moving stock safely
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and use time effectively
- Takes pride in keeping areas clean, tidy and organised
- Willingness to follow instructions and company procedures
- Previous retail, stockroom, delivery, warehouse or cleaning experience would be helpful but is not essential
- Flexibility to occasionally support another local site would be an advantage
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport would be a strong advantage, but is not essential
This role would suit someone who is practical, organised and looking for steady part-time work in a busy retail forecourt environment.
