Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Pharmacy Students to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic pharmacy environment while enhancing your knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical care. As a Pharmacy Student, you will work closely with licensed pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and medication management.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
- Participate in health promotion activities, including medication counselling and education for patients.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Utilise IT systems effectively for managing prescriptions and patient data.
Experience
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Previous experience in customer service is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to engage positively with the public.
- Leadership qualities that contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with IT systems relevant to pharmacy operations is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
