An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to take the lead of a newly refurbished nursery setting in Penrith. About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership and smooth running of the setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and compliance are consistently maintained.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the nursery
- Inspiring, supporting, and developing a dedicated early years team
- Maintaining outstanding standards of safeguarding, care, and learning
- Building strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and the local community
- Driving occupancy, performance, and continuous improvement across the setting
- Ensuring full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and all regulatory requirements
About You
To succeed in this Nursery Manager role, you will bring:
- Experience as a Nursery Manager or a strong Deputy Nursery Manager ready to progress
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
- Proven leadership experience within a nursery or early years environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Good understanding of safeguarding, EYFS, and Ofsted frameworks
- A proactive, inspiring, and child-focused approach
