Care Companion
Market Harborough (Care Home Based)
Full Time | 40-50 hours per week | Flex for Weekdays and Weekends
We are recruiting a Care Companion on behalf of a care home in the Market Harborough area. This is a purely companionship-focused role with no personal care duties involved.
About the Role
You will spend your time engaging with residents through conversation, activities, and meaningful social interaction. This is about building genuine connections and making a real difference to the daily lives of the people in your care.
Shifts run 9am to 5pm, with flexibility on whether you work weekdays, weekends, or a mix of both.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A warm, patient, and sociable nature
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Previous experience in a care, support, or social care setting is beneficial but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and genuine compassion for the elderly or vulnerable
