Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term (Term time only)

Are you passionate about giving children the best possible start in their education? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS TA to join our friendly primary school team in Egremont. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the early years of a child’s learning journey.
Job Description:
As an EYFS TA, you will:
- Provide general classroom support across Reception
- Work with pupils on a 1:1, small-group, and whole-class basis
- Support the delivery of engaging learning activities
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
- Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with class teachers and support staff
- Follow safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is needed
- Relevant Teaching Assistant or childcare qualifications are advantageous
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate (Update Service or willingness to apply)
- Full and up-to-date CV
- Ability to provide details of two professional references, including your most recent employer
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
