You will support Fee Earners on a range of Private Client matters, with a particular focus on Estate Administration/Probate work. The role will include both legal and administrative responsibilities to ensure the efficient progression of matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting Fee Earners with estate administration matters
- Providing administrative and legal support on client files
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Managing tasks and deadlines effectively
- Communicating with clients and third parties
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Supporting the overall efficiency of the department
About You

We are looking for candidates who:
- Are committed to developing a career in Private Client law
- Have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Possess strong IT skills and attention to detail
- Are proactive, reliable, and willing to learn
Academic Requirements (Apprenticeship Route):
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade 4/C or above), including Maths and English
- 3 A-levels (or equivalent) totalling approximately 128 UCAS points (ABB)
Alternative Route (Paralegal / Graduate Entry):
- Law degree (2:1 or above), or equivalent qualification
Training & Progression
We recruit Solicitor Apprentices with a long-term view of developing them into qualified Solicitors. The apprenticeship typically takes up to 6 years to complete, depending on individual progression and successful completion of all stages.
Paralegal entrants may progress to Qualifying Work Experience or a Training Contract, subject to performance and business needs.
