The One Group are hiring for an Audit Associate to join an established, hugely successful accountancy practice in Peterborough on a full time, permanent basis.
As an Associate, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to deliver statutory audit and other assurance engagements to clients. You will work as part of a team to deliver a uniquely personal and proactive service.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 35 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Work with an expansive and varied client base, including a number of large corporate clients and groups with turnover up to £500m
- Work on all aspects of statutory audit engagements, from planning through to completion
- Involved in the preparation and review of group and single entity financial statements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients
- Supervise, coach and develop new trainees
Requirements:
- Studying towards your ACA/ACCA (2nd or 3rd year)
- Experience in an Audit role, or in an audit and accounts role
- Ability to travel to client premises
Benefits:
- £34,000-£44,000 per annum (depending on experience & qualification level)
