Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and engaging Street Interview Helper to assist with data collection and market research activities in <LOCATION> or <LOCATION>. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in data collection, survey administration, and basic data analysis. The role involves conducting face-to-face interviews with the public to gather valuable insights for ongoing research projects. Candidates should be enthusiastic, professional, and comfortable working in dynamic outdoor environments. Prior experience with data analysis tools or market research is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Approach individuals in public spaces to conduct brief interviews and surveys
- Collect accurate responses using designated questionnaires or digital devices
- Ensure interviewees understand the purpose of the research and obtain informed consent
- Record responses clearly and efficiently, maintaining data integrity
- Assist with organising collected data for subsequent analysis
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily interview targets
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times during interactions
- Support the setup and breakdown of interview stations as required
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with diverse members of the public
- Basic understanding of data collection methods and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor environments
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time
- Comfortable with social media presence.
Pay: £10.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
