Production Operative – Multiple Roles Available

Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm | Friday 8:00am–1:00pm
Mid Wales Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Welshpool. We are looking to hire multiple Production Operatives to join a well-established and growing company.

Key Responsibilities
- Assembling products in line with technical drawings and breakdown sheets
- Collecting and checking parts from stores
- Measuring and cutting materials to specification
- Carrying out finishing tasks, including cleaning and touch-ups
- Ensuring components meet required finish standards (e.g. galvanised, painted)
- Reporting discrepancies to supervisors or relevant departments
- Supporting production of non-standard components
- Maintaining stock levels and a clean, safe working environment
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Desirable Skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience working with metals such as mild steel or stainless steel (advantageous but not essential)
