PREVIOUS hospitality supervisor level experience required
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our busy hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts, to ensure smooth service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and serving processes, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist with food production when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas
- Manage reservations, organise seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive guest experience
- Support team management by training new staff and providing ongoing coaching and feedback
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area in accordance with health standards
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow during shifts
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Extensive restaurant experience, including knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with hospitality operations, including serving, food production, and kitchen experience
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
- Strong leadership qualities combined with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service environments

Pay: £13.00-£13.75 per hour
