Overview
Bloom Stays is looking for a practical, organised and detail-focused Property Management assistant & Laundry Lead to support the smooth running of its managed homes department.
This role combines inspection support, property provisioning and the planning and organisation of laundry and linen requirements across the managed portfolio. It is well suited to someone who enjoys practical operational work, has strong standards and is comfortable balancing planning, checking and hands-on follow-through. Driving to locations and a clean license is essential. Company pool car provided.
Main purpose of the role
Property Management assistant & Laundry Lead will support the Property Manager in delivering high standards across the managed homes portfolio, with particular focus on inspections, provisioning, stock organisation and linen planning.
This role will carry much of the routine inspection activity and practical operational follow-up, while also helping organise the developing laundry side of the department. As the managed homes and linen service grow, there is scope for the role and hours to develop further.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine property inspections across the managed portfolio.
- Identify presentation issues, shortages, maintenance points and replenishment needs during inspections.
- Support the Property Manager with practical follow-up from inspections and operational task lists.
- Help ensure homes are correctly provisioned with linen, consumables and key guest essentials.
- Plan and organise laundry and linen requirements across managed homes.
- Liaise with laundry providers, suppliers and internal team members to keep stock and supply running smoothly.
- Help maintain organised systems for linen, supplies, storage and replenishment.
- Support property set-up, snagging, seasonal refreshes and readiness checks.
- Assist with maintaining high presentation standards across homes.
- Flag recurring issues, stock inefficiencies or process improvements to the Property Manager and wider team.
Working pattern
This is a part-time role of approximately 16 hours per week, typically worked over three days, with the expectation that some days may be longer depending on inspections, travel and operational need.
There is scope for the role to flex upwards, potentially to around 25 hours per week, as the department grows and the laundry and linen side develops further. The role includes one Saturday in four as part of the normal working pattern.
The role also participates in a shared out-of-hours rota, currently one weekend in four, to support genuine emergency issues in managed homes. Any required physical call-out attendance outside normal hours is paid separately in line with company arrangements.
