Job Summary:
We are currently seeking additional labour to resource our current and upcoming projects.
Based in our yard in Cumbernauld, we are looking to hire labourers to assist with the following:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to move materials within the yard.
- Organise and maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
- Preparing materials for deliveries.
- Ensuring there is a clean working environment, and following safety protocols.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and repairing equipment.
We seek both people who want to be based at our depot full time, working within the yard, and also those with ambitions to go to the next step and work on site within the scaffold squads, erecting and dismantling scaffolds. We would then offer a career path from yard labourer to scaffolder with our apprenticeship and training programmes.
Note: This position will require working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 15:30
- Holidays: 28 days

About The Candidate
- Experience working in a similar role preferred, however, not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Must be reliable to work the contracted hours.
- Hard worker.
- Well mannered.
- Be able to work within a team environment.
- For those who want to progress to sites, a full UK driving licence is a must.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39.0 per week
