Overview
We are seeking dedicated Cleaning Staff to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and domestic premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, and communal spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and restrooms regularly to uphold hygiene standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
Requirements
- Vehicle for transport to and from work
- Willing to be self employed (we can help with this)
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting moderate loads
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
