The HPKC is a leading manufacturer of high-quality bathroom furniture, known for craftsmanship, quality, and innovation. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative to join our production team.
This is a hands-on role within a busy workshop environment, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in producing quality products, and works well as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate a range of woodworking machinery including Beam Saw, Panel Saw, Edge Bander and CNC machinery
- Load, unload and handle materials safely throughout the production process
- Assist with machine set-up and daily production requirements
- Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
- Follow production schedules and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets
- Assist in other workshop duties where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating woodworking machinery in a manufacturing or workshop environment is essential
- CNC operating experience would be advantageous, but full training can be provided
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle materials safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential
