We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to help maintain the external appearance of our busy pub The Maybush Inn, located in Waldringfield. The role involves ensuring all outdoor areas are clean, tidy, safe, and welcoming for customers before opening each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweeping and tidying outdoor customer areas.
- Keeping pathways, entrances, and seating areas clean and presentable.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of bin and waste disposal areas.
- Keeping the car park free from litter and debris.
- Carrying out light gardening duties, including weeding and general upkeep of planted areas.
- Removing litter from the premises and surrounding areas as required.
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management.
- Assisting with general external upkeep to ensure high standards are maintained.
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work independently and take pride in maintaining high standards.
- Physically capable of carrying out outdoor cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Previous grounds maintenance, gardening, cleaning, or maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential.
Hours: Primarily early morning shifts before the pub opens, with hours to be agreed.
