About The Role:
We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to work with our client who has a Spinal Cord Injury, living in their own home in the Cumbria area of CA17.
Working to build a professional, working relationship and supporting them with their activities of daily living, in social and leisure activities at home or in the community.
This post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
Hours of Work:
7:30am – 8pm – Days (Mon – Sun)
8pm – 8am – Waking nights (Mon – Sun)
Rates of Pay:
£19.00 per hour – Days (Mon - Fri)
£20.00 per hour – Waking nights (Mon – Fri)
£21.00 per hour – Days (Sat – Sun)
£22.00 per hour – Waking nights (Sat – Sun)
£13.00 per hour – Training rate
About You:
Required
- You must have a Full UK Driving License as our client lives in a rural location
- Non smokers as requested by the client
- Flexible in approach to meet the needs of the client
- Experience of working in a Care role
Desirable
- Registered on the DBS Update Service
- Experience of working with SCI is preferred but specialist training will be required
