Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join a growing property technology business.
The role is focused on speaking with estate and letting agents across the UK, opening conversations, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and arranging qualified product demonstrations with decision makers.
This is a phone-based sales role, so you need to be confident making outbound calls and comfortable speaking with business owners, directors and senior members of estate agency teams.
There is strong earning potential; success in this role comes from consistency, resilience and activity.
The role
You will be responsible for creating new business opportunities with estate and letting agency businesses.
You will be speaking with agencies about the systems and tools they use to run, manage and grow their business, and introducing them to a suite of software and digital solutions designed for the property sector.
On a typical day, you will be:
Making outbound calls to estate and letting agents
Speaking with owners, directors and senior decision makers
Building rapport and understanding their current setup
Identifying whether there is a genuine opportunity to help
Qualifying interest and arranging product demonstrations
Following up previous conversations
Managing prospects and next steps through the CRM
Working towards clear activity and performance targets
You will have access to data, systems and sales tools, but we are looking for someone who can think beyond just working through a list. The right person will use initiative, spot opportunities, and find sensible ways to get through to the right people.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is already comfortable in a B2B sales environment and understands the reality of outbound calling.
You do not need to come from the property industry, but you do need to be confident picking up the phone, handling objections and creating conversations from a cold start.
The right person will be:
Confident, professional and natural on the phone
Experienced in B2B outbound sales
Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision makers
Resilient and able to handle rejection
Organised with follow-up and CRM notes
Target-driven
Commercially aware and able to qualify opportunities properly
Curious enough to ask good questions and understand a prospect’s business
Consistent in their daily activity
Experience required
We are looking for:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in outbound calling or B2B sales
Experience booking demos, consultations or sales meetings would be beneficial
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Work Location: Remote
