Position Overview
We are hiring a FLT (Flexi) Warehouse Colleague to work as part of the wider warehouse team and associated staff within the department, servicing our in-house 3PL customers.
The role is focused on ensuring the smooth processing of outbound orders and inbound receipts for the onsite customers that we support, while delivering excellent standards of service and maintaining high levels of stock integrity and account management across the site.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks and transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner, supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
Working closely with key stakeholders on customer accounts, you will also collaborate with colleagues across the wider business who have overlapping responsibilities in delivering a full 3PL service.
This is a fast-paced role with many time-sensitive tasks, requiring you to prioritise your workload in line with customer expectations and wider business targets, while managing your time effectively to consistently deliver against operational requirements.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday // 08:00am - 17:00pm (banked hours)
Salary: £12.83 p/h

Key responsibilities:
- To ensure all inbound deliveries are unloaded and then checked off and recorded accurately and any discrepancies are highlighted to the warehouse manager and the supporting admin staff

To ensure that all inbound receipts are labelled correctly when goods in labels have been generated and that when goods are then located within the warehouse using scanners this is done in a timely and accurate manner with any issues arising brought to the warehouse manager and the supporting admin staffs attention

Picking customer orders are done using scanners and that all goods that are being picked are scanned accurately and that the customer orders are picked in accordance with specific criteria required and in a manner that allows safe transit of goods to the end delivery point

Ensure that all paperwork associated with inbound and outbound movement of goods is collated and handed in when completed in a timely manner

Using packing equipment such as manual and automatic banders and automatic pallet wrappers as an aid to securing goods for delivery

To assist and support in stock control and quality audits when required

Maintain a tidy and safe working environment ensuring housekeeping standards are followed daily

Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained, and to follow all company procedures in relation to health & safety

Undertake general Warehouse duties such as, Rework, Re-palletising products, wrapping pallets, stock checking, pick checking and any other warehouse requirement needed

Support and work with the Warehouse manager and the admin support with information on the account to ensure expectations are met on time and in full

Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring their expectations and requirements are met daily

To ensure Standard Operating Procedures and other documented processes are followed effectively

Complete all necessary paperwork for associated duties including timesheets and check sheets

Must hold a Flexi licence

Knowledge of Working within a supply and demand warehouse environment
- One years experience working within a busy warehouse environment, dealing with demanding customers to meet deadlines
- Working within a 3PL or similar, Working with multiple types of customers in house and externally
- Working with a WMS and scanners to receive goods in and picking orders to customers.

To be able to work within the parameters of SOPs and documented processes
