We are seeking a dedicated and experienced early years professional to support the daily operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting the management team, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining high standards across all age groups. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with leadership qualities and a passion for teaching and organisational development. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for overseeing staff, implementing policies, and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
Duties
- Assist the Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives, with a focus on fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee the delivery of services to ensure they meet organisational standards and client expectations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures.
- Organise staff rotas, manage attendance records, and support recruitment processes.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an early years setting
- Demonstrable ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an approachable manner.
- Familiarity with organisational policies, health & safety regulations, and quality assurance standards.
