What You Need
- A USB headset
- Your own laptop or desktop computer
- A stable internet connection (Ethernet connection is a MUST!)
- Experience in telesales, lead generation, telephone fundraising or call centres (strongly preferred)
- You are target driven & hungry for success, able to cope with pressure and rejection.
The role
As part of our in-house telephone fundraising team, you will call prospects and existing supporters to engage them in setting up a regular gift to Animal Welfare Investigations Project.
This is not cold calling. You will be engaging in:
- Thank-you calls to recent donors
- Upgrade calls to encourage ongoing support from one-off giving to regular giving
- Occasional upgrade calls to existing regular givers
- Calls to prospect supporters who have signed a petition
You’ll receive full training on our campaigns, systems, and approach. You’ll use our online dialler and fundraising platform to make calls and process donations confidently and accurately. This role involves following a script and using a dialler system.
