Male Care Assistant
Advert to recruit one full-time or two part-time male personal assistants to support a middle-aged gentleman with his day-to-day living requirements.
This will include the use of a hoist to assist with his movement and personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, maintaining hydration and supporting with his mealtimes.
The gentleman uses an electric wheelchair and has some speech difficulties, but with patience and support from family members it can be overcome. He enjoys football and is a season ticket holder at Sunderland; there may be times you are required to attend.
Other interests include playing games on the computer, dominoes, music, attending pop concerts or a weekly trip to the Metro Centre or garden centre.

Rate of Pay £15.00 per hour
30 – 37 hours per week – early morning shift from 7:30am is a crucial part of the role. Afternoons can be flexible.
Hours and weekend hours can be discussed
Full clean driving licence required
