Help in the process of monthly financial information, the reconciliation of the General Ledger to feeder systems, and the investigation of financial queries from service managers.
Provide a comprehensive clerical and administrative support service.
Work on their own initiative and be responsible for organising meetings for staff within the department and preparing papers as required, liaising with other Health Board Staff and external organisations.
Be able to communicate, and demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
If you are a Powys Health Board employee this post will only be offered on a secondment basis and you will need to have gained your line managers approval for the secondment prior to going to interview.
A vacancy has arisen for a Management Accountancy Assistant based in the Finance Department located at Bronllys Hospital.
This position will support the Management Accounts team. The key elements of the post are to support the production of accurate monthly financial information, to complete and input journals and to produce financial reconciliations.
Consideration will be given to part time applicants that meet the criteria (Minimum 20 hours).
We would particularly welcome applications from Welsh speakers; but even if you don’t speak any Welsh, or want to develop your skills, don’t worry: the health board will support you with training.
