Your next role
We’re looking for an experienced highways professional to lead the operational delivery of our highways services, ensuring the network is safe, efficient and resilient. As our Senior Specialist – Highways Operations, you’ll be a technical expert, leading teams, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement across maintenance, emergency response and winter services. Working closely with colleagues, partners and the public, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high‑quality highways service that supports safer travel and stronger communities.
The ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required and access to a car, in order to make site visits and attend meetings.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
