Job Title: Deputy Care Manager
Location: Bexhill on Sea
Salary: £14.95 per hour (£31,096 annually)
Hours: 40 hours per week , including just one Saturday per Month!
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager for our care facility in Bexhill on Sea. The role involves a balanced workweek, split into 20 hours working directly on the floor and 20 hours in a supernumerary capacity.
The ideal candidate will have experience within neuro-rehabilitation, although this is not essential. This position is perfect for a current Deputy Manager of a care home or an experienced Team Leader looking to advance their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home
- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team
- Ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee care plans and assessments
- Participate in staff training and development
- Handle administrative tasks and maintain accurate records
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in a care setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both on the floor and in a managerial capacity
- Passion for providing quality care
- Experience in neuro-rehabilitation is a plus , not essential
