Traffic Management Operative
Essential Requirements
M1 and M2 traffic management tickets.
TTMBC qualification.
T1 and T2 traffic management tickets.
Full UK driving licence.
Good knowledge of local roads and navigation.
Ability to communicate effectively while working on site.
Willingness to undertake training where required.
Strong commitment to health and safety.
Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends when required.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy traffic management equipment for both planned and reactive works.
Deliver traffic management equipment to customer sites in line with project specifications.
Install equipment safely and in accordance with site requirements and legislative guidelines.
Assist with the safe operation and use of traffic management equipment on site.
Collect traffic management equipment from sites once work has been completed.
Inspect returned equipment and complete the necessary documentation.
Report any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.
Carry out basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs where required.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Carry out basic sign repairs on site and complete battery switch-outs where required.
Provide support to traffic management installation teams on site.
Load and unload traffic management equipment onto vehicles.
Maintain good housekeeping standards both on and off site.
