Warehouse Assistant/Store Assistant
Homemakers 1st stop is looking for a Shopfloor/warehouse Assistant to join our team! We are a family owned and operated business that has been serving the community for over 30 years. We are seeking a positive, team player who is eager to learn and grow with us. Working hours/days dependent on experience and suitability.
Driving license is essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a hard working, reliable person to work in a part time multiskilled role within our fast growing family run store. Their roles will primarily include;
- Taking in supplier deliveries
- Checking off and allocating supplier and customer orders
- Help customers within the store.
- Merchandise aisles and put out stock
- Stock counts
- Deliver customer orders (Large transit vans)
- Load up skips with waste from kitchen and bathroom jobs.
Job Requirements
Full driving license
Previous experience within retail/warehouse is preferable
DIY Knowledge is preferable
Strong communication and time management skills
The ability to work in an organised manner
Strong work ethic and good level of personal fitness
Education & Experience
·Previous experience driving large vans is strongly preferred.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
