The Opportunity
- I am currently recruiting for an Events Manager on behalf of a high-quality, Gastro Pub, Hotel and events-led hospitality business based in Hampshire.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to move into a broader, commercially focused role, combining events, sales, marketing, and business development.
- You will play a key role in driving revenue, managing client relationships, and delivering exceptional guest experiences, while gaining valuable exposure to the commercial side of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage event enquiries from initial contact through to delivery
- Convert enquiries into confirmed business, driving revenue growth
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver events to a high standard
- Support and develop business development initiatives
- Oversee social media channels and marketing activity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and corporate clients
- Lead events on the day, ensuring smooth and professional execution
- Work operationally as a Duty Manager, supporting restaurant and hotel service
- Carry out opening and closing procedures, including cash handling
Working Pattern
- 48 hours per week
- Includes 2 office-based days focused on administration, enquiries, and planning
- Remaining hours spent operationally, leading service and events
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in hospitality management (restaurant, hotel, or events venue)
- Strong interest in events, sales, and business development
- Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Confident working both operationally and in an administrative capacity
- Looking to progress into a multi-functional, business-focused role
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 to £37,000 basic salary DOE
- £8,000-£10,000 tronc (on top)
