Job Summary
We are currently looking for experienced, enthusiastic, reliable Swimming Teachers to join our current friendly and highly professional team from 1st September 2026.
Available positions - Teaching children SE Stages 1- 7- weekdays 15.45 – 19.15
(There are Five afternoon sessions on offer, they don’t have to be filled by one person. )
Successful candidates will be working in our own pool, with a water temperature of 31'C and with only ever a maximum of 5 children in the pool at any one time.
Our rate of pay is amongst the highest in the area, as are the standards of our facilities and the back up you would receive within this highly respected private Swim School, now in our 22nd year.
We operate continually throughout normal school term times and not through school holidays.
Applicants should have an ASA/SE/STA Level 2 Teacher Qualification, current DBS, Teacher Rescue Test and at least 2 years of swimming teaching experience.

Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Assess individual progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments
- Promote a positive environment that encourages participation, enjoyment, and confidence in swimming
- Uphold the organisation’s standards of behaviour, professionalism, and safety at all times
This role is ideal for enthusiastic individuals committed to fostering a love of swimming while ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants.
Pay: £26.00-£28.00 per hour
