About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cold Stores Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence to join our fast-paced warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations within chilled and frozen environments while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
· Operating Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
· Loading and unloading vehicles
· Picking, packing, and palletising stock
· Moving goods within chilled and frozen storage areas
· Completing stock checks and inventory tasks
· Ensuring products are stored correctly and safely
· Following all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures
· Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse
· Supporting goods-in and dispatch operations
· Completing warehouse paperwork and scanning tasks accurately
Requirements
· Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential)
· Previous warehouse experience preferred
· Experience working within cold store, chilled, or freezer environments desirable
· Good understanding of warehouse health & safety
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
· Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
· Basic numeracy and communication skills

Working Environment
