Job Role – Support Worker
We are looking for experienced and talented support workers to work alongside a young female autistic adult, requiring support to promote independence, teach life skills, access the community, develop social interests, and support with personal care. Ideally, this role would suit an applicant with experience/training in the following: LD, Autism and Challenging Behaviour (however training will be provided). The service user loves music, walking, swimming and dancing. The applicant must exhibit a bubbly and patient disposition, and be motivated to make a difference to this young adult's life. A driver is preferred.
Shifts:
09:00 - 17:00 and 09:00 - 21:00 day shifts
21:00 - 09:00 waking nights
2:1 support required.
Situated in Congleton
(You will be integrated into an established team, we can provide hours from 6-40+ hours per week, you will be required to work a minimum of two weekends a month)*

Training is provided for our Complex Care roles however we’re preferably seeking candidates with experience and/or training within Challenging Behaviour, Autism and learning difficulties
Tordan Healthcare Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience within the Health & Social Care sector
- Full clean drivers license
- NVQ Level 2 (Minimum or working towards obtaining)
- Experience of providing complex care (e.g. Tracheostomy, PEG Feeding, Epilepsy etc.)
- Content on working alternate weekends
