Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Soft Landscaping Operative (Self-Employed) to undertake a variety of landscape maintenance tasks on contracted estates. The ideal candidate will possess some understanding of horticulture and landscaping practices, with the ability to operate a range of power tools and machinery., although training can/will be given.
Responsibilities
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, hedge cutting and weed control.
- Operate mechanical equipment such as mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers etc, although training can/will be given.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Some experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture would be ideal but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and within a team with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards.
- Good physical fitness to undertake manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Drivers licence with experience driving vans would be ideal
Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
