Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner for Saturday Mornings with further hours available to cover holidays and sickness, to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the Care Home following cleaning schedules and responding to any additional issues as they arise. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on attention to detail and reliability. Prior experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for residents,visitors and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across designated areas of the home, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
- Dispose of waste responsibly in accordance with company policies.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within allocated timeframes.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning work is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
