Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and carpentry, with the ability to build, fabricate, and install various roofing systems. This role requires physical stamina and the capability to work at heights, ensuring that all roofing projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Construct, install, and repair roofs using a variety of materials such as slate and tile.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing materials.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment on-site.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with various roofing materials and installation techniques.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to roofing tasks.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) as required by the job.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
