Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with their check-in and check-out procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilised and ready for use
- Support dentists during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining patient comfort
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining treatments, answering queries, and offering reassurance
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using IT systems, ensuring optimal utilisation of the practice’s timetable
- Handle administrative tasks such as updating patient records, processing payments, and managing correspondence
- Maintain a clean, organised reception area in accordance with health and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and confidentiality regulations at all times
