We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will help deliver an easy and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the store. We are looking for someone who takes pride in excellent customer service, works well independently, and is interested in progressing into a Team Leader role in the future.
As a recognised Keyholder, you will be trusted with opening and closing the store and will be required to work confidently during lone working shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the store
- Open and close the store safely and securely as a Keyholder
- Maintain a clean, tidy, safe, and well-presented store environment
- Replenish stock efficiently based on customer demand and trading patterns
- Ensure shelf-edge labels and point-of-sale materials are accurate and up to date
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
- Take immediate action on pricing or overcharge issues and follow company procedures
- Act promptly on internal communications and store updates
- Support seasonal, charity, and community activities within the store
- Balance customer service duties alongside replenishment and operational tasks
- Work independently and confidently during lone working shifts when required

Important Information
- Flexibility is required to work shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm, including evenings and weekends.
- The role involves lone working.
- Due to Keyholder responsibilities, applicants should live within approximately 10–15 minutes of the store or have reliable transport to site.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.70-£14.00 per hour
