Dog Groomers, situated in leigh is looking for a dedicated and talented Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will deliver top-notch grooming services to our beloved canine clients, ensuring they leave looking and feeling great.
Responsibilities
Must have experience
- Deliver grooming services such as haircuts, nail trims, brushing, bathing, and ear cleaning, customized to meet breed standards and client preferences.
- Assess the health and condition of dogs’ ears, skin, teeth and coats and report any irregularities to owners.
- Treat pets with kindness and empathy, prioritizing their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Keep the grooming area clean, tidy and well-organized, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and disinfected.
- Engage with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and offer advice based on breed standards and the latest trends.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, grooming techniques, and pet care products to ensure we deliver top-tier service to our clients.
- Work with team members to ensure a safe and positive grooming experience for pets and their owners.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a Dog Groomer, ideally in a professional grooming salon or similar environment.
- Familiarity with all grooming techniques and dog breeds.
- Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
- Strong communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to upholding high grooming standards.
- Flexibility to work some Saturdays if clients require.
