Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in clients' homes. Duties
- Clean and sanitise all areas of clients’ homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces
- Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and polish furniture to ensure a spotless finish
- Empty rubbish bins and replace liners as needed
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow specific client instructions regarding cleaning preferences or special requests
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning tasks
Skills
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and follow instructions effectively
