DRS Property Maintenance LTD are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolder to join our scaffold team. The successful candidate will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures, technical skills, and the ability to work at heights. Responsibilities
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Inspect scaffolding regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the duration of the project.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, or electricians to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to assemble scaffolding components securely.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to minimise risks associated with working at heights.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising materials and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Assist in fabricating custom scaffolding solutions as required for specific site conditions.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to working at heights.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly and disassembly.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics for scaffold layouts.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure structural integrity and safety compliance.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights for extended periods in various weather conditions.
