Job Summary
As a Food Service Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. You will be responsible for food preparation, serving, and ensuring that all safety and hygiene standards are upheld. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve food and beverages to customers with a friendly and attentive approach
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Handle basic mathematical tasks for cash handling and order processing
- To help with setting up gazebo and packing down/ washing up at close of event
- Willing to travel to various locations within the UK (Transport provided if outside of Birmingham)
- Experience or interest in working with food ( Must have or be willing be to complete level 2)
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable
- Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks in a busy environment
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting
- Driving licence essential
