The company continues to expand globally, maintaining a record capacity utilization rate of 85%, with a sales capacity of 24,000,000 m² of output.
It also operates a polyurethane systems business unit as well as a steel company providing EPCM solutions in building envelopes, rooftop solar plants, cold rooms, and construction of industrial buildings.
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, responsible for maintaining and repairing all machinery and equipment across the facility in Ipswich.
Key Responsibilities:
- Having technical background and qualifications for mechanical maintenance.
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components and plant equipment using engineering drawings, tools, and workshop machinery.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge is must. Being familiar with pumps and chemical dosing is beneficial.
- To respond to any equipment breakdown in a timely manner to ensure continuity of the continuous production line.
- Carry out daily inspections and regular preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings and take measurements.
- Own or actively participate in continuous improvement projects related to the production line.
- To report findings and solutions for any kind of breakdown.
- Ability to work in a maintenance team.
- To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
